These are the house drums at Premier Music - a Noble and Cooley set that a good friend of mine with a N&C endorsement deal helped us get years ago. Cymbals are all Zildjian A or K's....

We also have a cheapie Yamaha with Sound Off pads for private drum lessons in one of the studios....

I wish I had the money for a Noble&Cooley kit - those are beyond awesome.

Anyway, here's mine (although I've posted it thousands of times )

Yamaha Beech Custom kit w/ TAMA Gladiator (Simon Phillips sig) snare and Iron Cobra double pedal.
Assorted Sabian & Zildjian cymbals.
Oh, and...Gibraltar rack (smartest thing I ever got imo).

'08 Mapex Pro M Maple (precursor to the current Meridian Maple line)

5.5x14 matching wood snare
9x12 rack tom
14x16 floor tom
16x16 floor tom
20x22 kick drum

Pearl Eliminator Double Pedals
Various Hardware, including Pearl, Gibraltar, and Mapex
Sabian B8 Pro Rock Cymbal set... 14" hats, 16" and 18" crashes, 22" ride.

I also have an additional 18x24 kick drum and a 10x13 tom that aren't currently mounted.

Currently I'm hoping to get my quote back from Saluda cymbals to see what they'll give me in trade for my B8 Pros. :embarrassed:

Here's my cheapo kit.

Pulse Laquer Pro (Musician's Friend house brand).

The shells are actually pretty decent. The hardware sucked. I've replaced most of the lugs since the stock ones would split or strip before you could get the drums tuned. The stands aren't something you'd want to take on tour, but since mine never leave the house, they've held up fine for a few years. One or two of the stands in the pic are actually Tama stands that I acquired somehow several years ago and are much higher quality than the stands that came with the kit.

The kick pedal and hihat stands are junk, but they work well enough for a crappy drummer like me. :embarrassed:

The cymbals that came with it were worthless, but I've since replaced them with a cheap set of Paistes (I forget the name of the pack I bought, but it's a 14" hihat, 16" crash, and 20" Crash/Ride). They sound pretty good. I guess I've still got one of the junky Pulse crash cymbals on the set, but it's not one I like to hit very often.

I guess for what they cost, you get a playable set of drums that with a couple hundred bucks in upgrades becomes a pretty decent kit.

Whats your favorite drum sound you've gotten with those?

Tough call. I find I'm more impressed when I actually play the drums half-way decently than when I get a good sound out of the drums.

That said, I'm kind of partial to these:

Dearest Valentine

Think Of You

Fuel To Burn

Like I said, if I can play the drums decently, I always end up liking the outcome better than I do if I have a really great sounding snare, but play it like crap on a stick. :embarrassed:

My "jazz" set-up

That is a LOVELY K Ride....

Cymbals

Thanks. It's a 21" K Custom Special Dry ride. The one on the far right is a 20" K Custom Flat-Top ride. The crash is an 18" A Custom and the hihats are 13" regular K's. I'm looking to completely replace my jazz cymbal set-up though. They look pretty, but overall I'm not happy with their sound. Too much high-end and not enough dark overtones.

Have you ever used that kit with us?
