Led zeppelin reunion

Robert never stopped doing them. He just folked them or bluegrassed them up a bit.
well, to be fair, they weren't "reunions", it was him continuing to play their songs. i saw him with The Strange Sensation. it was a little out there, but it was good.

Agreed. I was saying the Robert wouldn’t need to relearn them, because as much as he says he doesn’t want to be a jukebox and do the same thing over and over again.....

......but he really would like to play those songs again with his mates the way they did when they were 25.

if they really did it (likely with Jason on drums) and i could afford the tix....i would dearly love to be in the arena when bust out Kashmir.

Fuck Jimmy Page. Dude is long overdue for his #MeToo reckoning, and I wouldn’t pay a cent to see him. But even if that weren’t the case, he still hasn’t done a single worthwhile thing since Zeppelin broke up.

But I’ve seen Plant several times, his shows have been killer, he’s actually released solid albums over the past decade.

Did anyone actually read the article? :embarrassed:
Yes.

Still a valid conversation.

A reunion is something enough people want.
It’s a contentious topic amongst the remaining band members.

Maybe that’s the real reason why RP doesn’t want to do the reunion thing. He just sees it as carrying the other guys...

I just wish he’d stop saying he doesn’t want to do the “same old thing” while he’s out there doing “the same old thing” with a twist.
Sure, he’s put out a lot of good solo stuff (and it is good stuff), but any concert footage I’ve seen always included some version of more than a handful of Zep tunes.

...Jimmy Page ... he still hasn’t done a single worthwhile thing since Zeppelin broke up.

Au contraire. His ceaseless efforts to produce the perfect re-mix of all the classic Zep recordings have benefitted mankind in ways we have not begun to comprehend.
