Lazy question: Epiphone LP output jack nut size?

So, the output jack nut on one of my Epi Les Pauls popped off and I can't find it. Any idea what size I need? My google fu is weak.

I'm not sure of the exact size off the top of my head but it's metric. AllParts sells a pack of the nuts. You might find the size on AllParts' site.

IIRC it’s 8mm. eBay seems to be the best place to buy metric guitar parts.

The one off my Squire fit so I'm using that.

I would say no on Home Depot. They might have a metric nut that size but it will most likely be a full thickness nut. If you have a Fastenall nearby that would be your best bet.

replace it with a CTS jack you should be able to get at any guitar store. Just two solder connections and then you'll always be able to find nuts for it

Definitely always good to make finding your nuts easier.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking of doing.

Sorry I meant switchcraft jack. I think cts is pots only. Either way think of it as a great excuse to put a U.S. Made jack on it.
