Watched this yesterday while nursing a brutal hangover.
I can't tell if it was genuinely sweet and from the heart or ridiculously self-indulgent and shallow. Particularly the stage pieces with backing band, where Duff reads...from...his...memoir...really...really...really...really...slowly.
I'm happy to see that he's managed to turn his life around and seems to be dealing with his substance problems well. I feel like I didn't really learn much about the man, however, or what he's about. Nor did I learn much about the bands he's been in. Maybe the book is more revealing but I'm done with the "i was too drunk to remember much, i should be dead, but now i'm rich and healthy" rock n roll memoir.
Also, Niki Sixx is a douche and looks like an old woman with a bad dye job and bed head.
