It's 1974, you're 13 years old and stay up late to watch Midnight Special

I was little young at that time.
I did see Little Feet in concert many years later because I got a free ticket. They had a lot of radio play here in St. Louis. I was a bigger fan after seeing them live.

I was 14 and thought it sucked. I didn’t appreciate LF until Waiting on Columbus in 78. Then it was WTF is this?

75 Kiss Alive was out and that was what I was all about then.

And Lowell died in '79, so it was a short window to see them live. I think Waiting on Columbus was the big break for Little Feat that got them a lot of radio play. I was in high school by then, but remember folks liking a song about a fat man in the bathtub. I did too, along with having a rocket in my pocket.

I was 14 that year. I didn't see that show, but Little Feat was pretty light for my tastes at that point. I got into them a bit later on. I probably need to revisit all the Lowell George records at this point.

I don't know many Little Feet songs.

My first concert had the singer of Small Faces though.

My older brother got me Humble Pie Rockin' the Fillmore for Christmas right around this time (1974-ish). One of my first album purchases made with my own lawn cutting money was Smokin'. So yeah, I was (and still am) a big fan of Steve Marriott. Shame he exited this world the way he did.

I was 15 in 1974 but didn't hear Little Feat until I was in college. I think Time Loves A Hero was the first album I heard and I liked it immediately, but I'm not sure I would have liked it at 15.

I'm a big fan now. I saw them in the 80s with Fred Tackett and the guy from Pure Prairie League. He sounded amazingly like Lowell George on some songs. It was in the gym at Bowdoin College in Maine. Great show.

I finally got a chance to check out this clip which I missed when I was 10 or 11. That was a cool performance. Willin’ is a classic. Weed, whites and wine FTW.

10 years old, and Yes! I would have stayed up... I remember seeing David Bowie in his Ziggy phase just a year later in 75 on the MS, and thinking what the heck is this??

I was 23 then, and ending my first marriage while stumbling into the second one.

I loved watching Midnight Special; they had some great music on that show. I saw Little Feat in 1996; no Lowell George, of course, but great music. We were dancing on the lawn of the Pier 6 pavillion.
