God we can only hope and drteam can't we!!!!!!11! I mean this pick truck shit is outa hand these days.

Anyway I highly doubt any Bibba will be secure enough in his masculinity to drive one so most likely it will die but kudos to Elon for the effort

I have a good reason to have a solid, good towing and carrying capacity, truck with reasonable (not jacked) ground clearance. I carry a camper, and pull a boat, over high mountain passes, and up dirt roads. If there was sufficient range, and good recharging capabilities (and rural infrastructure), or better yet, a solar option that would work while in camp,/and of while driving, I would be all over it. Bubbas that are threatened are just dumb. I like my Ram well enough, but would love Musk or someone else to come up with a good electric unit. There should be plenty of torque for what I need, and it should just be an issue of range, and re-charging, As long as the truck the power train is put into is substantial enough to be equivalent to a 2500 level truck.

sorry brah...let me explain.....

You've probably noticed over the past year that "ol ddBob" has been making a lot of typo's. Well there is reason for that (it's not 'cuz he's dumb but rather he just don't care)
it starts back with my 2011 iMac. well a couple years ago the letters started wearing off the keyboard. Now i know all about QWERTY and whatnot but, can't be bothered if I hit a t instead of a y...know what I'm sayin"? Then there was the dirty key buttons (hey it happens when you have a white keyboard and you're an auto mechanic)....add to that low light situations and old mans eyes...well you get the picture.
Right now My new keyboard still has the protective plastic on it .It was never meant to be a protective cover other than for shipping but I'm keeping it on for now to prolong the whiteness (not racist) of my keyboard....,

hope this helps to clarify my typos so I am not perceived as stupid.
thanks!

I have a coworker who’s daily is a 2500 heavy duty RAM quad cab w/ the cumins diesel. The most its ever hauled is a load of mulch from Home Depot. He owns nothing to tow. It’s primary role is commuting to his office job. Pretty bananas but it’s his money.

That is the truck I have. A 2010. I ride my bicycle to work, or drive the little VW most of the time if I have to drive. The truck is for truck stuff.

I was just behind a pickup truck yesterday that had American flags, Don't Tread On Me, and various deer/hunting stickers all over the back window and hitch area.

The truck was a Toyota Tundra

They are made in Texas

I like the idea of a complete engine between me and whatever I'm colliding with. With a windshield down to my knees not sure I'm not sure that pipe coming falling off the truck in front of me won't just impale me all the more easily.

I am willing to bet with composites and modern materials, they can get the same or similar head on protective effect if they design it that way. Would be nice if they did for oncoming traffic on our almost all two lane highways, and considering elk, deer and antelope often on the roads.

hopefully. it would have to be something that's never been used before as no vehicles to date have been able to protect passengers in a head on collision.
