Yeah, they have some cool stuff there. I've bought three really sweet Gibsons from them over the last year or two.

That is pretty nice. Do they typically come with bound fret boards? I don't recall seeing that before.

FMIC has a bunch of new JM models; a lot of them have bound fretboards.

The 'issues' as I see them are:
* Really, really lousy pickups in the AmPro series (not even JM pickups), as well as a poorly designed bridge that leaves the 6th string perilously close to the edge of the fretboard;
* 7.25" radius on a bunch of otherwise nice smaller-run models (like the Troy van Leeuwen)
* Pricing. MIMs are MSRPing for $1,100+ and things like that lovely charcoal number above are $2k-ish.

People crap on the mod shop, but I actually thought it represented good value. For $1,800 I can get the bound neck at 9.5", any color I want, and good AVRI pickups.

Love the matching headstock on the one @Deep Eddy posted.

Sexy, yes, but a little too sedate for me. I like a Jazzmaster that looks more like a buxom blonde in a too tight red dress coming in late to the cocktail party, i.e. a bit more retro.
