I traded a parts Strat this morning...

For this. It's MIC, but I think I did okay. I'm wondering if I can use a UV light to blend the areas where the previous owner had stickers. This guitar is super light weight. It feels like it weighs about 7 pounds. 60s neck. Plays and sounds great.

i know it's a Burny and i know they're made in china.....but that is a damn nice LP, and i would not kick it outta bed for eatin' crackers.
i don't know anything about how their pickups sound, but that is a very changeable thing.
also, i'd change the knobs....i don't like those. black speed knobs would look a whole lot better.

Didn't know UV light can change color. Does it amber up new maple?
ummm....i'm not sure if that really works. i'm not saying it doesn't
i also think that if it does work, it might work better on laquer finishes.
poly finishes might be a real chore.

I don't have anything to lose. I have a small UV lamp, the type for fingernails, in the basement. It takes 15 minutes to test.

I don't need a new guitar and I don't get along with Gibson scale HH guitars, but I keep coming back to look at the pics. It's real nice.

Didn't Fernandez own Burny?
This says pretty much what every other place said when I Googled Burny guitars.

When I hear Burny I think of before my time, law suites and MIJ. Was surprised hers was MIC. Apparently now it's both MIC and MIJ.

Huh. Apparently my white Burny LPC (model RLC-55) has a 60's Slim Taper neck. In the past, I wasn't a fan of Gibson Slim Taper necks, but this one has the same specs and I admit, it's now my favorite guitar.
