The big Canookian music store chain had a post a joke contest last month.
They replied to my post, asking me to DM them. They’re gone for the day. So, I guess I won’t know until tomorrow.

If I am a winner, I get to choose between:

Mrs DCF says I want the piano.

The delay is pretty wild, but I’d likely never use it to its full potential.
And I just got the Laney BCC The Difference Engine last week.
 
This thread made me remember I've bought into several raffles over the last year and never heard anything about a winner. Damn it!
 
Picked it up today.
It’s a beast!

As soon as it was confirmed, I put in an order for the matching stand, the pedals, and a set of headphones.

I didn’t tell Mrs DCF where we were going and “accidentally” turned onto the street where the store is located.
It worked because the street does cut back to the street that I would normally use.

She snarked, “Your not going into the music store!”
I said, “I wasn’t thinking of it but now that you mention it, let’s go!”
“You’re not buying anything so why bother!”

Then as we were parking, she remembered that I won the contest. :grin:

Mrs. DCF is excited and loves the piano.
The keys feel way better than those on the piano we have. I need to find a new home for that one.

I was expecting to pose for a picture, but the store asked me to do a video telling my joke.
We’ll see if it gets posted.

I’m leaning on the boxes. Glad we took the truck.
Mrs DCF like the purple guitars on the wall.
