I need some book recommendations

I'm stuck at a polling place until 8 PM. The election is local (park district). If we are lucky, we'll have 50 voters all day. I need something to pass the time. There's only so much doom scrolling that I can handle. I want some light hearted fast read book recommendations. HELP!!!

Oh, and send lunch. Politicians won't be around to buy it for us.
 
When I need to kill a bit of time with no books on my list, I usually crack open (virtually) a Sherlock Holmes novel. Great stories, and each adventure is short enough to finish in an hour or so.
 
I found The Service berry, the new one by Robin Wall Kimmerer to be very inspiring but also quick and light. Highly recommended.
 
She Gets the Girl by Rachael Lippincott and Alyson Derrick (real married couple) is a lovely, breezy sapphic rom-com read.
