I just ordered one of those cheap Firefly guitars

The neck joint looks a little strange, but these have really good reviews on Amazon.

I have a friend who bought five different models all at one time. He loves them. I'm probably going to buy one at some point when a model I want is in stock.

If you don't take to this one, though, please let me know.

This is the FFDCD that I bought on eBay last week. It arrived on Friday. When it arrived, the frets were well dressed and polished with no sharp ends. I hated the sound of the cheap P90s. The nut slots were cut too deep. My roommate replaced the nut and set it up. I put in a new wiring harness with CTS 500k pots and a NOS set of Bill Lawrence L-560 pickups from the 80s. THIS THING IS NOW A ROCK AND ROLL MACHINE!!! It plays great. Is it as good as my $2000 Heritage H-150? No. But it is easily as good as a high end Epiphone. This was a really good choice. I'm just not used to this quality at this price point.

Oh, the cats name is Henri.

Good to know how nice these guitars are. Hopefully we’ll see more of these little brands appear and force the big name brands to bring their pricing back down to what it was ten years ago.

So if you don't mind me asking, how much for the finished product?

I had the nut and the pickups, so that wasn't an extra cost. But if you include them, about $300 total.
