I did something that wasn't me today

12Pack

Dyslexic b00n
Went to Dunkin Donuts and purchase a large coffee for my wife and I. The girl behind the register said that for every large coffee I get a FREE doughnut.

I said,

No-Thanks.

I'm hungry and just ate a yogurt. This sucks.

I just decided that you kiddies are going to be my support group.

Haven't touched a cigarette in 4 weeks either.

Now - If I can only work up the courage to turn that $500 shirt hanger back into a treadmill....

You can do it man. I lost 20 pounds last year by getting 30 minutes of exercise 5 times a week, cutting out fast food and just eating a little better in gerneral. I did NOT quit drinking beer, enjoying good food and wine. I did not try to kill myself exercising...

I really would like to get one of those elliptical doohickys for myself. But the cheaper ones most likely suck, and the expensive ones are, well, expensive. :embarrassed:

Those eliptical things are pretty cool - Doesn't hurt the shins when your using them.

The treadmill is OK but when I run on it my shins really start hurting bad - like shin splints or something.

I bet Mr. and Mrs. P are rotflmao at me considering they run 25k's for entertainment. tongue0

Mrs. P maybe, but I loathe running.

I'm only doing it to appease her. :embarrassed:

Thats exactly my reason, jogging and such just beats me up too much these days.

I'll have to look into one of those. Its about the best low impact workout i have found, better than stationary bikes and such.

its really difficult to swim in the living room of a 2 bedroom apartment. the elliptical is much easier.

i guess i could get one of these, but what's the point?

Yeah. ^ What he said.

My apartments have a couple pools, but nah, i'll pass.

We have an awesome elliptical machine. It's actually a 3-in-1 (regular stationary bike/recumbent stationary bike/elliptical). I hit it a couple-three times a week--gotta keep the stamina up y'know.
AOK
