1963 Studebaker Sceptre. This concept car designed by Brook Stevens was an attempt to keep car production viable for Studebaker.

The first Batmobile. Constructed over 3 years from 1960-1963 by Forrest Robinson, the Batmobile was based on a 1956 Oldsmobile 88 chassis and drivetrain.

Extensive fiberglass work was used to create the body, which was designed to emulate the Batmobile featured in the comics of this era.

The car was officially licensed by DC Comics for promotional purposes, making it the very first car to be officially recognized as a Batmobile
