How the heck does one mount a filtertron pickup?

I think only TV jones makes English mount. I'm talking a regular gretsch filter.
There's a mounting bezel but I only see two screw holes on the pickup. Looks like they screw into wood.
How does that work on a hollow body?

I will look at my Gretsch when I get home, but I'm almost positive they don't mount to the body of the guitar.
 
Just use a ring.

The ring mounts to the guitar with 4 screws in the corners. The pickup "hangs" on 2 screws. Just like a humbucker.

You might want to add some beef around the routes for the pickups so that the 4 screws have something more to bite into.

Or you can go the dogear way.
