There was row after row like this. This was early, it was packed later. All bbq pits

A little pulled pork.

The bummer was that a lot of the places were invitation only:(

7 bucks to get in. There is one place that gives you all you can eat bbq with your admission. That's where the pulled pork came from. Then just walk around and start talking to folks about their pits, how they made them, and pretty soon you're in. There were like 265 separate bbq tents there. Each had multiple pits. It was really unbelievable to see.

Did you see in the lunch thread that Loverboy was playing there

Oh yea, there was almost nothing to drink there except beer.

Now that's a pit. We have one a guy built for us. It is so heavy we cant even move it so we had it parked between our houses so we can both use it. We have neighborhood bbq's about every other week so it is used well. It isnt perfect but the guy made and gave it to us at no cost so it is hard to complain. We are trying to find someone to weld a fire box on the side though.

That event looks like a slice of bbq heaven.
