Take the award-winning P90 tones of the Liekki, combine them with a handwound Veijo Rautia Candy Bar pickup in the bridge for some Charlie Christian-esque tones, add our elegant new pickguard feature and you have an instrument that combines vintage jazz tones with the signature Flaxwood sustain. The CC Custom also features only one master volume and one master tone for added ease of play.

I kinda like the wood. I'm not liking the pickguard, which seems undersized to me. I'm not too fond of the headstock, and really don't like the gold hardware. Add the fact that they don't list the price makes it a resounding:

Nice. I played some of their models at NAMM and they're very cool.

Sent from my iPhone at a Tijuana donkey show.

I have played one at a local retailer. Not bad, and kudos for innovative materials and design (somewhat ugly or not ).

This particular example is a bit unattractive, but they have better-looking finishes out there.

I think they have a chance to succeed if they make the prices a bit more attractive than the current $2K-plus range, tho.

I really like that. Not what I am looking for, but I would try it out for sure.

But, is that an ***** headstock?

The pick guard is unnecessary as I love the finish. I'd prefer a couple of humbuckers over P90s and if there was a Wilkinson Trem option I'd take it. Gold hardware is fine with me, don't get why people hate it so much but each to their own.
