That’s Happy New Hip Day for you youngins. Well, January 14th was the day. First surgery ever. Three weeks post surgery tomorrow and solidly with the living plus started back to the gym this week. Was solid in a week post surgery but great today.

Wow! Healing mojo, even though it sounds like you're doing great.
I remember several years back when my FIL had it done, he was up and around in no time.

I had PT at the house for two weeks. He said if all his patients were like me he’d be out of a job. lol. Released from PT last week with a script for outpatient PT if I felt like I needed it. The surgeon and PT both said they didn’t think I needed to go. I do work at all the exercises though to continue getting stronger. I feel better than I’ve felt in about six years!

I went through that with my mom this past summer & learned a ton about how to set yourself up for a successful recovery and what not to do. Mojo.
