Went to pick it up yesterday because of the 30 day hold policy. One of the sales dudes said that original owner came back and wanted the amp back. He had to tell the customer that it was sold already. His loss, my gain!!!

I've always wondered if, with two EL84s, it's rather like a Pro Jr but with the addition of a lower-power setting mode, a tone stack, Reverb, and 12 inch speaker? That combination sounds good to me! BTW - that thing looks cherry!

It is Cherry!!! Previous owner kept in great condition. Currently ordering a Tuki cover for it. This will be part of my gigging machine of small amps.

I swapped out the speaker with a Cannabis Rex.
I felt the 100w speaker that came with it was not a good fit for a 25w amp.

I used to have one. It's a good little amp. I had the Hasserl mod done to mine. It sounded great. Congratulations on a good score.

I am thinking of putting in a Celetion G-12 NeoDym that I have. Won't hurt to try.

When I say the amp in GC I tried to call my friend Richard (aka Hasserl). Unfortunately he did not pickup but later that evening I did chat with him. FWIW I already bought that amp but did not take delivery yet. He gave me the low down of his mods and I recall playing through his head/cab a few times at our local blues jams. I don't believe that I will make many mods. I do like the stock sound already.
