Hillbilly Weatherman says......it's time to hunker down.

My wife showed me that.

Hilarious, he is.

Snowpocalypse is coming. I'm sure the snowmobilers are gonna be happy.

This is the hardest I have ever seen it snow in my life. It is NASTY outside.

I think we're in the 18-24" range, but I can't really tell how much we've gotten because it's blowing sideways at the moment.

LOL.....they just closed all the state liquor stores in NH. You KNOW it's bad when that happens.
There goes my plan for the rest of the day.

It's bad here, but I don;'t think it's as bad you're seeing. But it's still coming down, and mostly sideways. And the drifts are piling up everywhere.
Last time I was out - about 30 minutes ago - I noticed it's gotten colder than compared to this morning.
I'm not clearing the driveway again until it's done.

Our street is a mess, as most side streets are. Our main roads are covered, but easily passable.
I've had zero problems in the truck with 4x4. I've seen some people stuck or sliding, but that's mostly because they were doing something stupid.

I know some people like that heat @DdBob , but that would floor me. I bitch about the cold, but I don't hate it as much as I hate the heat.

This would have been good information to have yesterday.
I'd use little mini bottles of whisky, though.

You can do whisky, but don't do that with beer cans.
They'll freeze and explode.
Rookie mistake. (ask me how I know this. Lost a 30 pack when I first moved up here by leaving it on the back porch.....oops.)

Good news, though. Storm is done, and we probably only got around 15" or so. Tough to tell because it has all blown into drifts.

Neighbor came through with the plow truck last night, so we should be good with another pass.

Only tragedy was the door to the garage blew open last night, so I have a snow drift in the garage. Easy enough to remedy.
