It's about what you would expect. Decent build quality. I was surprised at how well the tuners worked and the intonation is right on. The sound? Well...

I run it thru all this stuff and get a pretty nice 'fake' acoustic tone. It turns heads, sits in a stage mix great and everyone likes it...but it ain't no Martin Authentic.

It's a nice road rig! HNGD to me!!!!!!

Happy New Sire Day!

I have a Sire H7 (335 copy). I paid $650 for mine but they've crept up to $700 now. It's certainly no Gibson 335. I like the feel of the rolled edges on the neck, the tuning stability and most of build quality. I even like the stock humbucker pickups (slightly brighter than a typical Gibson 335 HB).

I think my H7 will need a new nut (and possibly more) for me to be happy with it. A tech or luthier will have to figure out a ping, string sizzle that I cannot seem to isolate.

I'm glad yours is working out. It looks cool.
