Has anybody tried the Railhammer Anvil yet?

What pickup would you say its most like? The EQ looks to have good high mid crunch.

Im not really the right person to answer this question. Im not really a big pickup guy so I don't have much to compare them to. The are very mid heavy but I think the big thing I notice is the clarity of the low end even with heavy distortion. It doesn't turn into a flubby mess as it can with a lot of pickups.

Kerouac and Tele911 could probably give you a better description. They both played this guitar.

Heres a good demo of Railhammer chisels. The Anvils are just a little hotter.

Thanks. I've been checking out all the Chisel vids. Joe said the Chisel has more agressive high mids and treble, which is what I want. But isn't the Chisel just med output? It would be nice if all companys did the MV thing like Dimarzio does.

To me, they sounded just like a Seymour Duncan George Lynch SH-12 Screamin' Demon (which I owned in a guitar for a year or so). I am only speaking bridge pickups here.

Medium output to Joe is still a bit on the high side.

Probably a little more compressed than the Demon, but just as bright, but I didn't get to spend any time with it with just the guitar and amp. If it's a little too bright, you could always try it with a 250K volume pot. What guitar are you putting it in?

Interesting as I tried that one too but the output was too heavy for me. I truly enjoyed your Reeves more as it was more responsive to my style of attack.

I'd say that in that particular guitar (Rev's Sensei) that it's pretty balanced, but maybe the lows?
