Guitar refinish done right...

I am so excited. About a year ago, I did a relic job on my Strat. I liked it at first but after a couple months, I grew tired of it. A few months ago, I started looking for someone to refinish it and came across someone on Facebook that came highly recommended. He actually specializes in doing swirl paintjobs but I approached him about doing a metallic purple and he loved the idea.

I’ll be honest, the first time he sent me the body back it had quite a bit of imperfections so I sent it back to him and he redid it. I actually started this thread about the whole escapade:

I didn’t know what to expect when I got it back but it arrived yesterday and it turned out great. Here are some pictures…

That really does look fantastic. You somehow ran naked through a massive shitstorm and came out smelling like a rose.

Unexpected, but great news.

Now ditch that absurd gold hardware!

I said you needed to get out of that deal as soon as possible. I was proven wrong. That turned out amazing.

Edit: Wait a minute... he cut off your 22nd fret! You still need a refund!
John will just have to buy a 22-fret roasted maple neck & fretboard for it.
