Rickenbacker 360/12 V64 in metallic turquoise, near mint condition, includes original Rickenbacker silver tolex case. Bought new in 2002 from Pick of the Rics. The 360/12 V64 is replica of one of George Harrison's 12-string Rickenbackers and it is no longer being made. Mark Arnquist, a former Rickenbacker employee, improved the playability by widening the string spacing at the nut and saddle. The guitar plays and sounds like a dream.

$2500

Rics almost always make me feel funny in my pants but I've never been able to make peace with those itty-bitty necks. That's gorgeous though.

Ooh noice! But it's a 12-string, and would very much be a one-trick pony in my guitar arsenal. For me, $2500 is too much for a one-trick pony guitar.

i had the same problem with a 660/12 a few years back. could have bought it for $1500 (it was spankin' new), but just couldn't dedicate that much dough to a 12. bought a Dano DC-12 instead and we've been very happy since.

I've been VERY much considering getting a Dano again. Cream City/Warp Drive Music (where I got my Jag for such a steal of a price) recently became an authorized Dano guitar & effects dealer. The last time I was there, they had some cool looking 59DCs. The prices looked good too.

i like dano for oddball stuff. i've never really gotten on with the DC-59. but for cheap 12 strings and baritones, i don't think they can be beat.

12 string-y ricenbackers are truly awesome...except when they are painted a god-awful color...like blue...
