why would he do that?

steal that kid's strap for me, would ya?

what's Tom playing there?
I like...

To prove that Danelectros are indestructible. Scared the shit out of me since my back was turned when he did it :embarrassed:

Tom's playing an RC Allen guitar from the 70's...

made ya jump a bit, did he?

I'd be nervous about throwing a guitar unless my intent was to do some hurt.
either to the guitar or an audience member:wink:

RC Allen, eh?
never heard of 'em before, but that don't mean nuthin':embarrassed:

tell him to send it to me.

Magnatone amp

IMG_1262.jpg

Apparently Magnatone made these amps for a musician named Eddie Bush...he wanted his own line of amps.

The Excelsior amp was not used during the webcast but Deke gave me a tour of it afterwards. It was an Accordion amp maade be Sano for about a year, and the neat thing about it is that the reverb only comes out a pair of speakers in the sides for a sort of stereo thing. More info here: http://www.our-mission-possible.com/Altar of Amps.htm

Family picture (although Deke's signature Hallmark guitar and the Dano double neck are not in it)

That Bigsby guitar sounded tremendous!

Is anyone making reproductions of those pickups?

Another guy that uses a Bigsby derived guitar is Ashley Kingman from Big Sandy's band. He also sounds great.

I'm watching the video now... I cracked up when he tossed the doubleneck on the floor...

Oh man! I love that Bigsby guitar!

The Bigsby sounded rad...actually all of the guitars sounded great in person. My personal favorite was the gold sparkle swept wing....

I was facing the computer when he tossed the Danelectro and the sound scared the shit out of me. I didn't realize that he did it on purpose and thought something had gone terribly wrong :embarrassed:

Weren't Danelectro made from Masonite? Tough wood. After reading your post about the tossing I couldn't wait to see that. A big giant blat sound
