tough call. do you want filtertrons or P-90s? that's really your answer.
Dammit - now you are complicating things
FWIW, the Pete is available with RTs as well. The issue is that unless I make another trek to CME, there isn't one for me to give a good going-over, and there is a Pete available in another state West of here ()for under 1K (they're usually 1399). The Gretsch is more widely available, and I have played this model a few times and quite liked it. I can also get it significantly cheaper. I can live with either P-90s or ____trons.
I guess the bottom line is: is the PA that much better to justify the added cost, since they're both MIK?
Tough call.
Do you have a preference in fret size? They differ significantly there.
So, $1k for the Rev.
How much for the Gretsch? $875 is the advertised price.
the Pete Anderson is also available with Revtron's.tough call. do you want filtertrons or P-90s? that's really your answer.
They are the same on all of the guitars. The only issue I have with most Revs are the railroad-tie-sized frets. Don't know if the PA uses the same wire as the rest, as I believe it is Pete's choice on his sig, but I just don't know if that means they are smaller.
As low as $640.
They are the same on all of the guitars.

It seems less pronounced on the set necks. I like them, but can understand some not liking them.:(
I just may have to deal with that, though.
They are not made in the same factory.I'm betting that they're made in the same factory! IIRC, the Electromatics are made in the Samick factory currently, and were previously made in the Peerless factory. However, I'm betting that the switches and electronics on the Reverends may be better quality (Can't vouch for certain -- just a guess!)
