Going to make some meteoras!

Recently got a template set for the Fender Meteora offset. Love this updated offset although I hear it’s based on a short lived 70s model.

This template is for a dual humbucker model while my first order is for three firebird pickups and a jazzmaster vibrato.

Going to make this one rear routed with no pickguard.
There’s a wenge Warmoth neck, mastery bridge and some Q firebird pickups to go in an ash body.

Slab #1 is mine. Honduran mahogany. This one is a mash-up of meteora, jazzmaster, firebird V and telecaster.

I have some Duncan vintage P90s and found a jazzmaster neck in the showcase at Warmoth.

Going with a white finish, black pickguard and white plastics.

Closed back..... are those RATIO Tuners? I've wanted to try those... but you need to check each tuner for the number or symbol for which string it's for, as each has a different gear ratio so one full turn is the same pitch change on each string.

Edit.... never mind.... Ratio tuners are made by Graphtech, not Hipshot.

You are correct. These are just plain 15:1 all the way down the line. They do, however, come with these nifty plates that will align the machines to same angle.

This one is a cool project. Swamp ash body. Three firebird foil top minis, each with a three way mini toggle for off/single/both coils. Mastery bridge and jazzmaster trem. The switch up front is a momentary kill switch.

Finish on this one will be a black grain fill and oil/varnish wipe-on.

This all makes my little P90 project look quite pedestrian by comparison

The neck is sweet. Warmoth, wenge shaft and fretboard. Reverse arrow headstock. 10-16” radius. Hipshot locking tuners.
