Gibson Firebrand SG

When I was up at El Borrachitos recording yesterday I played his Firebrand SG a bit. Really cool guitar. The headstock on his is the actual branded logo and he's put a Duncan '59 in the neck and a custom in the bridge. I kinda want one now to go with my '79 The Paul.

Cool. I remember those. The Gibson logo is like branded into the headstock on a lot of them. Looks like someone at Gibson got a 70's cool wood burning kit for Christmas that year.

I hate to say it (because, for about the past 35 years I was almost exclusively a Fender guy until last year), but the SG body is THE MOST comfortable guitar to play. They're light and resonant, fret access is unparalleled and they're equally comfortable standing or sitting.
