Yeah...only guitar geeks notice that kind of stuff though. He may well have played a tele in the early days, but I doubt it had a rosewood fretboard. I don't think Fender had those back then.to this day, i still can't understand why they couldn't get the guitar right. i've never seen a pic of buddy with a tele.
