I've learned with my HOF2 that restraint is crucial. Especially when using the Shimmer mode. A little bit goes a very long way and it can easily get muddy and chaotic even before any of the knobs reach 12 O'clock. You did an excellent job of taking the beast.

Me too. It's ambient and tasteful...oddly rhythmic. It could probably be sold to a nature documentary.

Reverb and delay are some of the best effects and both of them can be taken overboard very quickly - thus they are overdone by many, many people. Especially people who have not used them much because it sounds so cool to have those things (on voice particularly) and since a little sounds cool, a lot MUST sound cooler, right?
