If it wasn't purple and a different bridge, I would be all over it.
Actually if it were more purple and less pink I'd be drooling. I've seen these in GC and they are most certainly more pink than anything. Regardless of color, they are bitchin' guitars. If I had any sort of guitar budget I'd get one.

As far as the bridge, a Floyd Rose Special will drop right on and they're a huge upgrade for not much coin.

I figured that after all the issues with restringing the JEM that guitar would be first on the chopping block...

SVH should buy it and stripe the fuck out of it because it has the old EVH controls.
Actually, the switch on the EVH was up by the lower horn, not by the volume control.

Not a bad idea, though. I'd stripe the fuck out of that.

Didn't it depend on the year?

I just like that there's no tone control.

That's an Axis, not an EVH. With the Axis they moved the switch and they changed the bridge to the regular Gotoh rather than the version with the saddle mounting screws that were offset (so you could move the saddles without needing to remove the strings). Some say they changed the neck specs, but some say they're exactly the same. Other than that the guitars are identical.

All we know is... they call him The Stig.

Hahaha. Not at all. I actually changed the strings and cleaned the neck before I posted this. The trem isn't floating and you can only pull up so changing strings on this is a breeze.
