Firefly Mystixcology Signature Model

Knox in Box

Rustbelt refugee.
The folks at Firefly must have accidently sent this guy the Signature prototype they were developing for Mystix and Flamencology.

It looks like an eighties kid’s TV exploded during Purple Rain, the wood panel walls were all stained purple, and someone used it as the veneer on a cheap guitar.

Supposedly this guy got sent this guitar after ordering the Firefly, but I just noticed this says "Harley Benton" on the headstock. Totally different guitar that I didn't know existed.

Love the volute, locking tuners, no inlays and 5 ply. Not big on the color.

I've seen a few of that guy's videos. Having a YouTube channel gets you a signature guitar these days? Mark Wein should get a signature Korina V
Hunter Engle's actually been working with Thomann/Harley Benton for a few years as a consultant and there's a bunch of models/series that he had a hand in spec'ing, like the Fusion series. When the first version of his signature dropped a few years ago it sold out in a day or so, and you know factories don't just make a few examples of a model. The kid has his pulse on the metalhead market and has amassed a good following.

Okay, this sent me down a rabbit hole to find out about it. And goshdarnit. I now have extreme GAS for this here....
