Stealing Your Riffs
I modified my EOY closeout SDOTD, new Gretsch G2215-P90, Streamliner Junior, Jet Club ($210 shipped).
After replacing the OEM Broad’Tron BT2 bridge pup with a Blacktop Filtertron, the OEM neck P90 had way too much output. So, I installed a 500K trim pot with Kinman-style treble bleed to reduce the P90 to match the Blacktop (pic below).
Other parts added: Crème TV Jones, Gibson-style mounting ring, Pigtail-style, wraparound bridge (w/ adjustable saddles) and a trapeze tailpiece (for the look).
It plays and sounds great now.
