I have never liked the showmasters, but I dig that one. I would like it better with a nickel covered pickup though.

Interesting - I used to have a Squier Stagemaster 7 (7-string, that's basically the same as a Showmaster). Show masters are kind of neat.

I think it's quite lovely, though I think I'd prefer two pickups as well.
I have a Hwy 1 Showmaster that looks nothing like that--satin black, rosewood, 24 frets, two humbuckers, Floyd.
It, too, is a pretty nice guitar, but I never bonded with it. Anyone want it?

It’s everything I dislike in a guitar. A Fender, a burst, a flame top, just a bridge pickup, no tone knob, and a kooky bridge. I LOVE IT.
