I kinda like the finish on that Mojave Fade pictured above ^^
I don't have a Mojave amplifier to go with it though :(

If one watches the video posted, the pickups are quick connect/disconnect.

How hard does that make it to swap pickups but still keep all the push/pull coil tap & phase options?

Isn't the switch right where a Les Paul switch is? I've never heard of anyone complaining about a Les Paul switch placement.

Nah, it's much higher on a singlecut LP; this one is damn near right next to the neck pickup.

EDIT: upon further review, I may have exaggerated the difference in placement, but on the Epi it is still too close to the neck pup for my comfort:

EDIT II: Ya know, the more I look at the Epi, the less I dislike it. Has a C neck, too, as opposed to many recent Epi guitars with that awful slim-taper D.

EDIT III: Never mind - that upper horn is just fugly, plus why o why does it have the Sheraton headstock??

I don’t like the LP placement and it looks really stupid on the cut away. Mike Ness doesn’t like the placement either

Oh, okay, I get why it’s not just a Gibson style doublecut. This is a revival of the Del Rey, a design from the 90s. Interestingly enough, the ones from the 90s have the switch between two knobs.

It's not as easy as you may believe, though much easier than normal. If you could source the correct Molton adapters it would be easy, but I couldn't. I disconnected the Molton plug cut the leads from the original pups with a bit of play, then solder the new pups to the corresponding Gibson colored wire tape it up or shrink wrap then plug it back in. Much better than messing with the pots and switches at any rate.
