Your favourite song by Elvis!

every single one of them.

though if I had to pick just one, maybe Love Me

or Love me Tender.

or...aw dammit.

all of them.

I did a nice punk cover of it a couple years ago.

also one of my fave Elvis movies, too.
I have all his flicks.

Since we've been snowed in here, I watched 3 Elvis movies yesterday, there wasn't much else on that I hadn't already seen.

Horrible scripts and acting, but the chicks in the movies sure were hot!

Don't remember the names of the movies, but the 1st one was a modern western, where he's an Indian just come back home to Arizona and buys a stud bull for his dad, so his dad can get get some big government money. 2nd movie he's suckered into a relationship by some crazy gal that sells his house, moves in with him, gets him fired, etc. and 3rd movie he's touring Europe in a '60s rock band, with a 17 year old gal chasing him around.

Oh my, the 'Indian' gal in the first movie that he steals at his coming home party….

My mom is a HUGE Elvis fan. As such, I could sing a bunch of Elvis songs (and do the accompanying Elvis the Pelvis dance moves) by the time I was 3 years old. :embarrassed:

I'm a big fan myself. Hard to pick a favorite.

Burning Love
Suspicious Minds
In the Getto

And his versions of Poke Salad Annie and Bridge over Trouble Water.

I could go on and on.

I bet my mom has 100 Elvis LPs and several hundred Elvis 45s, and I'm sure she has them all on CD too, as well as every movie and concert video.

I don't wanna sound creepy, Greg, but I like your Mom.

I, too, grew up on Elvis, among others.

She's still got a bust of Elvis on top of her Grandfather clock. I'm pretty sure she has at least one Velvet Elvis too. :embarrassed:

And yeah, the soundtrack of my childhood was Elvis, CCR, and Jim Croce.

man, I'd kick babies for a nice Velvet Elvis, seriously.
that's been on my want list for a longggg time.

I've got mirrors, photos behind glass, action figures...but no Velvet.

okay, I wouldn't actually kick a baby, but you know what I mean

Probably Hound Dog.

I'm not really a huge Elvis fan, but I'll admit part of that is the over-the-top fanaticism towards him by so many people. Separate the man and music from the crazies and I'd like him more.

Too many to list for a favorite. My mom still has her Elvis 45's.

I love his music, love it. He was one-of-a-kind.

We have no VElvis though - I should get one for the basement. Every house should have a VElvis.

I've always liked this:

I want to get the Complete Stax Recordings which just came out where I learned he covered:

Also my dad's birthday and my cousin just had her baby today.

Me and my pops:

Tough to choose my favorite Elvis tune, but I'll take these 2.
