Usually Wednesday is Texican Food Night, but this week we are mixing it up a bit and hitting a cool German place.

And you know what that means - GINORMOUS MUGS OF BIER

I'm thinking Optimator...

The only experience I have at a German Restaurant is at that place tele, Chihili, Mrs. P, and I went to in Pittsburgh. Lots of beer and encased meats.

German food is great comfort food. Which is funny, because Germans are the most discomforting people to ever walk the Earth.

Lots of German food in central Ohio. The sad thing is that I'm really not into German food. I lived in Bucyrus, Ohio for quite a few years and they bill themselves as the bratwurst capital of the world. I pretty much hate bratwurst.

There used to be a good German restaurant not too far from us, but it closed several years ago. Supposedly there is a very good German deli somewhere in south Central Denver proper, but I have no clue what it's called.

There used to be one in Sac somewhere, I think it's long gone now. I'm super jealous.

Bier. Sausage. Bier. Cheese. Bier. Potatoes. Bier. Beef. Bier. Veal. Bier. Cold charcuterie. Bier.

Best-cuisine-ever.
