Dogs are awesome sauce

It's funny - watching that makes me think how (in terms of averages) dogs are dorks and cats are 'too cool for school'. I guess that's why I love them both - between them they sort of encompass the high school social scene!

I’m trying to adopt this beauty:

I have a bulldog. They are great beasts and extremely lovable. Lots go up for adoption as they are 1) stupid as rocks, and 2) have some health issues and or require extra care over a normal dog (wrinkle maintenance, etc). Stupid is maybe incorrect, they are strong willed and not really often interested in being trained. Anyway, they are great dogs. We have a version in Switzerland called a Swiss or Continental bulldog that has a little longer legs and more of a snout...and this is a derivative of the English bull that is supposed to remove a lot of the health issues with some outbreeding. They still act like classic bulldogs.

If you've ever traveled down to Ensenada from San Diego and bought a roadside taco, you've probably had dog with hot sauce.

Tig, I swear we share a dog. Lily has the white left paw and everything.

Very cool! Max has a bunch of bully/pit in him, but he also has what looks like Plott Hound. Full Plotts can have anything from all black to brindle, to sandy brindle markings, and have huge blood hound looking ears that start on the side of the head. I need some new photos as these are all at least 6 months old and he's grown taller.

Molly has quite a bit of Plott, but her ears aren't large enough and her line is too thick to be pure blooded:
