Do you guys remember a while ago where there was this deal if you bought some dumb Zakk Wylde model

motorcycle (like a little scale desktop motorcycle model) you would also get a Zakk Wylde Les Paul, and a bunch of people bought the motorcycle model (I think it was like $150) and then nobody ever got the motorcycle or the Les Paul?

Did I dream this or did it really happen? Did anyone ever get their guitar or motorcycle model?
 
I think the company was called 357 Customs. I didn't order anything, but I remember this being all the rage back in the HC days. People thought if you bought a die cast toy, you would get an epiphone Les Paul for free. I kind of remember the whole thing was a scam by someone working for ZW that also had interest in the motorcycle company, and ZW had no idea it was happening. I thought it was a web page guy for ZW's site that was running the scam. I remember some people getting cheap motorcycle toys. I don't remember anyone getting a guitar. Just my memory, so apologies if I got it wrong.
 
I vaguely remember that too. I think it happened even before I started to read HC but it was still a running joke when I was on there.
 
I got the scale model bike and the 357 customs cap. Never got the guitar.
Former HC forumite was on business where 357 was based during the whole fiasco and they had closed up shop and blown town while the whole thing was going down.

Yes, it did happen. A long time ago. I remember all of that when I still was on Harmony Central.

I do remember this was around the time you were transposing some very very interesting conversations from a mom’s forum or some such thing.
