Yeah, that whole Schecter/ESP vibe. I don't know, I'm a traditionalist when it comes to Charvel....I think these are really ugly.

The DS-2 and DS-3 models have much less abalone and will cost in the $350-$499 range.

these are better, but i'm wary of the whole line. i do like that they're 24 frets, but get the feeling they'll just be heavy and not very responsive. hopefully Fender will prove me wrong.

I like the plainer ones much better than the blingy abalone ones

Are these Les Paul scaled necks? or 25.5"? It doesn't say.

And the Skatecaster looks like it has the best upper fret access:
