As is so often the case in when it comes to lucky car deals, timing was everything for Tom Wangerin.

Five years ago, Wangerin, a resident of Daggett, Michigan — in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula — came across a rare Panther Pink 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A. Not only was the car rare (1 of 124 in the memorable pink), but it was in amazing condition and, best of all, had a great story behind it. The Challenger was a belonged to an 82-year-old woman who had treasured it since she bought it 25 years earlier.

Wangerin admits he never envisioned himself wanting a pink car, but he was smitten with the Challenger and worked up the nerve to ask the woman what her plans for the car were.

Wangerin already had nine other cars in his collection and jokes that he really didn’t have room for another car, but the opportunity to acquire a car he had long admired was simple too tempting to pass up.

Would.

I saw a Porsche 911 Turbo back in the '80s that was pink w/black trim, and it looked awesome (for a pink car, that is  ).
This one is a darker pink, but it looks nice.

I've seen very few cars in panther pink, and that's one of the best. They were also nice in goofy grape:

It's too bad that at least 90% of the cars you see on the road these days are either white, black, or some shade of gray. So boring...

That will certainly turn some heads. It just begs for attention, but that's what muscle cars were all about.
I'm not sure most people who would see it would know it's actually 50 years old.
Wish it was mine.
