C-1 Artist III Electric Guitar White - Today's Price $399.0 - Reg $999.0

I've owned worse. Decent pickups.

  • Bridge pickup: JB Sh-4 humbucker
  • Neck pickup: '59 Sh-1N humbucker

No $$, so I'll pass.

Don't be fooled by the 999 price, they are only a hundred bucks more regular price. Still, not a bad guitar for the money, but I've never been a big fan of the import schecters. Last schecter I played that I really like was a natural finished schecter research strat copy.

Those are actually pretty nice guitars.

I don't understand why Schecter insists on string-through bodies and not trems.

I know you CAN get a Schecter with a trem, but they are the exception and not the rule.

Because trems are for sissies. Real men push on the body to bend the neck

yeah, that's definitely the list price, which nobody sells by. also, every standard production Schecter i've played has been a complete POS.

I wouldn't go so far as to say they are pieces of shit, but I've never played one that made me want to buy it either.

one of our boys plays a Schecter, and I think it plays great.
a li'l on the heavy side, weight-wise, but it sure sings.
