So NPR did a story on a recent study looking at people’s perceptions of beards on men. Part of the study queried young children, showing them a picture of a man with a beard, and a picture of the same man without a beard. When asked which man was stronger they picked the bearded picture. Same with which one was older. But when asked which one was best, they unanimously picked the beardless pic.
This changed for adolescents, and those who have bearded fathers as they get older. But young children prefer beardless.
Just a message to those of you who are scaring your young children.
