Battle of the bands with the letter "Y" Yes vs The Youngbloods

youngbloods were a cool band....but in the larger scheme of things Yes was/is one of the icons of prog rock.

The trio of early Yes albums (Fragile, Close to the Edge, Yessongs) were huge musical influences on me. And Steve Howe is one of the reasons I started playing guitar to begin with. I'm still a big Yes fan....

I've seen them at least 8 times. Dave always sounds great. He still sings well too.
I meant to see them last month. I didn't go.

Yes was a band I would listen to on the radio, but Youngbloods were more my style.

This guy is playing a small club 15 munutes away next Thursday. 90% going.

The Youngbloods were a cool band but I gotta go with Yes, up to Tales from Topographic Oceans.
Yes was my fav music to trip too back in the day so they get the nod for nostalgias sake if nothing else.
