Legitimizing your decision: unless an artist "of a certain age" has recently released good, new original music, I tend to think of the tours as missable. This is especially true for larger venues.

I enjoyed the Rolling Stones at Fenway 14 years ago, but it wasn't earth-shaking. OTOH, recently saw Luna in a club with 200 people, and that was pretty fine.

I saw them at Wembly Arena (not Stadium) in 1987. I wasn't really a fan, but they were pretty good.

(I'm still not really a fan though. I should probably like them more than I do, but I have a nagging feeling that ship may have sailed.)
