Well the pic is kinda tiny, but I'd still say they look more like P-51 Mustangs than Spitfires. But still... on w the paroty

Some friends invited me and the Mrs. kind of last minute. Turned out to be a pretty cool day. It would probably be worth the trip down to this area next year. Those are all the pre-show pics - just walking around, etc. The rest are of WW2-era fighter planes and jets doing all kinds of crazy shit in the air.

um...they are mustangs...That is the P82 Twin Mustang...it was developed as a very long range escort for the B36 bomber...

OOOOhhhhh, the Thunderbirds!

Awesome!!!!!!

(The F-18's the Blue Angels fly are a little sexier, though.....JMHO. LOVE going to see the T-Birds and the Blue Angels. AWESOME!!!!!!)

Odd that you have a Navy F-18 and the Air Force F16s at the same show.

I thought they were sort of "mutually exclusive".

Great pics, btw.....

I opened the tread expecting a pictures of some hot twins considering Gibby started the thread. Instead I see lots of pics of hot planes. Thread has been saved......
