Question: (ACTUAL TRUE TALE) I remember something I thought of in a dream last night and I need some feedback from this community on whether or not it is funny?

So this one is true, not like my usual bull shits. But last night I had this dream and I remember part of it. I was out with a group of friends and I had this idea of something I thought would be really funny, and I started laughing thinking about it, and then I told the idea to my friends and said "wouldn't that be funny?" and they all agreed that it would.

I remember the idea but I can't tell if it would be funny or not.

The idea is this: A remix of Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA" where the volume of the music stays normal but the volume of the vocals increases over the duration of the song so that by the end the vocals are overpoweringly loud and distorting.
 
Oh I have no plans to actually do it, was just wondering if the idea of it was funny. I appreciate the encouragement though!
 
If I can find isolated vocals and instrumentation I guess it'd be pretty easy to make this a reality... get some stock 'Murica footage and make a video

It would be funny if the very thought of that song didn't cause adverse reactions in me.

I realize that's a personal thing for me. I'm not alone in this, but I'm obviously not Smurfco either.
