A Perfect Circle have announced their fourth full-length album, Eat the Elephant, and released a slow-burning new song, “TalkTalk.” The new album, the band’s first in almost 14 years, arrives April 20 via BMG; it includes earlier singles “The Doomed” and “Disillusioned,” as well as a Douglas Adams shout-out titled “So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish.” A Perfect Circle have also announced a new run of spring tour dates in the U.S., in addition to several previously announced festival performances.​

Seriously tho, this is bad news for people holding out for new albums/tours from Tool and the mostly-reunited Smashing Pumpkins.

Not sure about a Tool album but they were just touring and seemed to be phoning it in on stage. I skipped a show after watching some concert footage... sounded great but they didn't budge on stage and Maynard stood in the dark next to the drums for the entire set. Zzzzzzz

There have been multiple stories over the last year about a new Tool album being mostly done, except that Maynard never gets into a studio to lay down the vocal tracks.
