Summary

Body: Spruce top on maple back and sides

Neck: Mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard with dot inlays

Pickups/Hardware: One single coil pickup in the neck position, tone and volume controls, rosewood bridge, and a trapeze tailpiece

Cosmetic Condition: Wow! This electric archtop is incredibly clean for its age. It has some light, fine checking all over. The top of the body has some scratches and dings, but nothing terribly severe. The back and sides are incredibly clean with no discernible areas of buckle rash on the back. The neck has just a few tiny, minor dings and is still amazingly glossy. The headstock is also in great shape with just a little bit of wear on the top edge.

Modifications: The original pickguard is broken and fragile and the bracket is very deteriorated, they have both been removed but are included. The back has some warping due to a loose brace; the brace has been reglued.

Weight: 4lbs 15oz

Case: Original hardshell

$2595

Yeah, it is hot. Not something I could use, but a beautiful piece of history

Mmmmm! QUITE nice! I've had a a hankering lately for a pre-war archtop, to play some of the guitar jazz my grampa played back then.

Pretty nice guitar - but probably a better museum piece than a player. It is in remarkable shape for it's age.
