Plymouth and Dodge muscle cars were always very different from the offerings by Ford and GM. The Mopar cars always emphasized the muscle aspect more and the sports aspect less, IMO.
When I was younger, I picked up a 68 convertible for cheap. It was pristine. I was penniless at the time. I drove it around happier than a pig in sh*t. Landlord was giving me grief for having 2 cars. It quit one day a block from the junkyard.Broke out the wrenches. Pulled the distributor. Broken teeth on it and missing teeth on the cam. The cam had spun. Sat for about an hour pondering and wishing. Then walked to the junkyard and sold it. Took the bus home. A sad day
