Lunch: "it could happen to you" is a stupid movie but it has real guidance about cooking salmon in an air fryer (which nic cage refers to as a "wind frylet")

everybody already knows that "it could happen to you" is one of the worst movies ever made, frequently topping lists about the worst movies ever made, but if you've never seen it you probably don't know that there is a scene about how you're supposed to cook salmon in an air fryer. but for some reason nicholas cage's character refers to an air fryer as a "wind frylet" several times and is not corrected by any other character in the movie. despite this fact the advice for cooking is sound and if you're trying to get your salmon flaky and moist from your "wind frylet" and having a hard time, maybe cue up "it could happen to you" and fast forward to the scene where this is discussed. the scene is about twenty minutes long, about 12 - 15 minutes of this are just nic cage staring through the window of the air fryer (or "wind frylet" as he refers to it) watching the salmon cook in silence.

The last few times I ate Salmon, my chest began to feel tight. Either, I’ve developed a mild allergic reaction to it, or at least, I have a food sensitivity related to Salmon. In any case, I generally avoid swimming upstream. At this point, I’m fine leaving the Salmon for the Alaskan brown bears, Russian brown bears, and Kodiak bears.

I cook salmon in the air fryer. Pork chops, Burgers and steaks too. I’m a fan.

I generally grill salmon, but as we get into winter, it's time to turn to either the air fryer or a hot cast iron skillet. Unlike grilling, the other two methods leave the lingering scent of cooked fish in the house.
